Alessandro Fulvi
Head of Marketing for the PET Segment

Alessandro Fulvi has been part of Indorama Ventures for the past 4 years. Based in Milan, Italy, currently Alessando is the Global Head of Marketing for the Combined PET Division, covering the product streams of Specialty Chemicals, Virgin and Recycled PET. As Global Head of Marketing, Alessandro is responsible for the formularions and implementation of the marketing vision and strategy across the various business functions for the sustainable and profitable growth of our customers.
Alessandro has a Strong knowledge os B2B and B2C marketing as well as a consultant mindset and approach coming from his work experiences. Before joining IVL, he has worked in DS Smith Packaging as Global Marketing Director (7 Ys) with Coca Cola Company in diferente marketing roles (13Ys) and prior to that with E&Y (3Ys) as auditor and consultant.
Alessandro completed his MBA from the SDA Bocconi in Italy in 2003 and has a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University "La Sapienza" in Rome, Italy, in 1997.

Alexandre Horta

Soft Drink and Non-Alcoholic Beverage Industries (ABIR)

He holds a degree in Political Science, History and International Relations from the University of Brasília, a postgraduate degree in Political Science and Military History from the National Defense University (NDU) in Washington D.C. and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Political Science and Institutional Relations from IDP. He has been a director of ABIR for six years and has extensive experience in Government Relations, where he headed leadership offices in the Federal Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, as well as working at the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Legislative Assembly of the Federal District.

Antonello Ciotti

Antonello has a long-term story as Dow Plastic employee in different roles mainly in the PET business as Equipolymers Global Commercial Director and in plastic recycling as Sr. Business Development Director EMEAI in Dow Plastics & Specialty Plastic. Antonello is Past President and at present Board Member in Corepla, the Italian EPR scheme for plastic packaging recycling.

Ayrton Irokawa
Gerente de Vendas da Krones

Engenheiro Mecânico com 35 anos de experiência na indústria de bebidas, iniciou na Krones em 1990 na área de Engenharia de processo para cervejarias completas. Em 1998 foi responsável pela área de gerenciamentos de projetos e vendas de processo de fabricação de cerveja. Em 2007 incorporou a parte de gerenciamento de vendas na área de envase para alguns clientes/segmentos estratégicos. Em 2023 foi responsável como Head de Vendas do Brasil e responsável pelo segmento de tecnologia de processos, linhas de envase, reciclagem de PET e Digitalização. Participou diretamente de implantação de aproximadamente 15 Green Fields de cervejarias.

Claudemiro Ferreira
Gerente de Projetos da Polymetrix

Engenheiro mecânico formado pela UFF, com especializações em materiais poliméricos na UFSCar e engenharia de processos térmicos na Unicamp e na HTW de Chur na Suíça. Profissional com mais de 35 anos de experiência na área de poliéster, com destaque nas áreas de projeto, simulação e desenvolvimento de processos e equipamentos, comissionamento e posta-em-marcha de plantas de fabricação de PET por todo o mundo. Trabalhou 10 anos na antiga Celbrás/Rhodia-ster S.A. em Poços de Caldas (MG). Há mais de 25 anos trabalha diretamente na Bühler / Polymetrix AG, Suíça.

Irineu Costa Santos
Sênior Sales Executive da Alpek

Engenheiro Mecânico formado pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) e possui um MBA em Desenvolvimento Gerencial, Gestão Comercial, Financeira e Marketing pela Fundação Cabral. Com mais de 30 anos de experiência na indústria petroquímica e no mercado de plásticos, construiu uma trajetória sólida em grandes empresas como Rhodia e Braskem. Atualmente, atua como Executivo de Vendas Sênior na Alpek Polyester Brasil, sendo responsável pelo atendimento ao mercado de Resina PET.

Currently, she holds the position of Head of Sustainability at Valgroup. With a solid professional trajectory and remarkable expertise in the preparation and analysis of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and in the field of polymers, she is deeply committed to the theme of sustainability.

Laura Stewart

Laura is a passionate advocate for sustainable packaging solutions with three decades of dedicated service in the packaging and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) industries. Laura leverages her expertise to drive innovation and promote circularity within the packaging sector, ensuring a sustainable future for PET containers.
Laura earned her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and calls the southern Wisconsin area home.

Mariano Herrera-Menghi
Product Development Innovation and Sustainability SBT's Director Latam
Mariano is a leader with +20 years of experience in Packaging Development and Innovation for leading multi-national consumer goods companies. He is graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Tecnologica Nacional and Postgraduate with an MBA from Universidad Catolica Argentina. Worked with The Clorox Company and The Coca Cola Company and now, and for the past 16 years, he is working with Amcor leading a team of diverse talent and best human beings in charge of bringing Innovation, New products, and Sustainable solutions to serve customers across Latin America. He is a believer of doing the right things for the right reasons, leading with values and by example and is fully commited to creating positive impact in Sustainability.

Marisa Padula
Senior Scientific Researcher at CETEA of ITAL

Graduated in Food Engineering, with a Master's and PhD in Food Science from the School of Food Engineering at UNICAMP. Senior Scientific Researcher at CETEA of ITAL. She has been working for over 35 years in research and technological assistance in the area of packaging with an emphasis on evaluating the potential for packaging/product interaction, packaging safety and national and international legislation on food packaging. She is the lead researcher for the CCD Circula project and coordinator of Platform 4 on reuse and recycling technologies. She collaborates with Anvisa in the area ofpackaging for contact with food. She is a professor in the postgraduate course at ITAL and has been the chair of the EHEDG Regional Brazil (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) based at ITAL since 2015.

Paulo Carmo

With degrees in mechanical engineering and business from FGV, FDC and Kellog, Paulo Carmo has 25 years of experience in various positions in the technical and commercial area ofHUSKY in South America. Active in entities such as ABIPET and Society of Plastics Engineers, his career prior to Husky includes extensive experience in global leaders in materials engineering, structures, testing and simulation, as well as in the plastic processing inputs industry.

Rodrigo Brito

Rodrigo Brito leads Coca-Cola's sustainability area in Brazil and Southern Cone countries (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay), being responsible for strategies and projects related to circular economy, water and economic empowerment of the company.
Previously as entrepreneur Rodrigo Co-Funded, managed and today is member of the council of Aliança Empreendedora and Emerge, companies dedicated to promoting and supporting Brazilian entrepreneurship and innovation, forming partnerships with companies such as Eurofarma, BRF, Novartis, JBS, Natura , Boticário Group, Braskem, Aché, among others.
In his career, Rodrigo was recognized and selected by organizations and networks such as Ashoka, Folha de SP and the World Economic Forum. Rodrigo has a degree in Business Administration from UFPR with specializations at Harvard Kennedy School, Yale, Stanford and Indian School of Business.

Graduated in Law from the São Bernardo do Campo Law School, with a postgraduate degree in Public Law and specialization in Compliance and Corporate Legal Management. Over 25 years of experience in the strategic legal area, 20 of which dedicated to the food and beverage industry, with legal and regulatory knowledge and a focus on supporting business areas and mitigating reputational risk. Coordinates ABIA's Legal and Sustainability Committees, is a counselor on the CNI's Thematic Environmental Council and a member of the Special Committee for Support to Legal Departments of the OAB/SP.
